funny women

Catching up on  Jezebel last night the very well written ‘How to Make  A Rape Joke’ included an appropriate example from the rather funny Ever Mainard , who then led me on a very enjoyable youtube sidebar trail of female comedians old and new,  thought id share the ones that tickled me most :) (more…)

i cant bite my toe nails…

…in fact apart from helping me walk and keeping me balanced theres not much else that i do with my feet, to be honest im not their biggest fan. When i was in Infant 3 (5-6yrs old  i think) we were asked to draw humans in the future how we would have adapted to the changes in our enviroment and technology. My evolved  human/robot had cone shaped discs instead of feet (amongst other things)  because  ” Toe nails and dry skin take to much time to take care of ”  ”…space travel was far to important to spend time cleaning fluff from between your toes”. There was also no belly button for the exact same reason…obviously. However i might not have been so hasty to redesign those space travelling time wasters if Youtube was around back then!

Ok the singing and song choice – no comment, but regardless this is pretty inspiring!

hurt less @ caja de ritmos

Wow you lot like to make memories dont ya? Found so many of videos from the tour so far, big shouts to all who’ve been down to the gigs seriously have had the most amount of fun performing for ya’ll. Heres the final song from the Santiago show, which by the way is my new favourite place i soooo wanna retire there when im old and grey and of course have married a hot Chilean…..ehem ;) Thanks to BassCode TV for posting this little reminder and heres hoping to do it all again, just a little bit different next year :P

so thats what gale was singing

Keeping in theme i thought we’d head to Italy next by way of New Mexico, Albuquerque to be exact. Breaking Bad watchers might recognize this foreign blur of words from Season 3, for the rest of you this will mean nothing. Gale is idly watering his plants whilst singing along to this fun ditty by an Italian vocal quartet from the 1940s just before the chicken man pays him a visit. So wish i could find a clip of Gale actually singing this from the show but there’s nothing on line and i can’t post it myself as Youtube r straight hating on me after the condom film from the other day…still is a fun listen, especially when the high parts kick in and totally foreign as i cant understand a bloody word, roll on Berlin!

my kind of porn

Another video from last night at the casa del riot….lmfao Floop, floopy floop!

BP & the coffee spill

Spent last night with the Riot Jazz lads watching them organize their uber experience at this years Kendal Calling , in between watching them work and eating pizza they showed me some funny ass videos…this is the first :)

my 90′s style icon

In my recreational haze of a memory i always thought my short hairstyle circa 1996 was inspired by the infamous T-Boyz from TLC however recent discoveries in my tape box (Born Gangsta) and on youtube have rejogged that memory…i can now confirm that my sweet 16 style icon was in fact Boss. A milli, a milli, a militant rapper, whose name stood for Bitch On Some Shit, clad head to toe in black (of course) and looking like a tru G, i so need to get a tape player, this album is RIDICULOUS! Check out ‘i dont give a f**k’ for the most swearing in a chorus i think ever, for now this is Deeper!

i’ll make stew out of you!

So last night one of my oldest friends dropped round whilst Lords of the Underground were playing in the background, cue a 3 hour Youtube fest of all the tracks we used to bang insanely back in the day. Soooooooo many artists i forgot and soooooo many tracks that still KILL IT! So let us begin i got STFD for days on the 90′s tip! Raw Breed – Rabbit Stew, what you know bout this? (more…)

male poledancing…

This fella is quite graceful on the old pole and thankfully he is wearing pyjama bottoms as opposed to a grease stained g-string. However around 2.30mins i couldn’t stop my mind wandering somewhere to a dingy back street strip joint, imagining the kind of women that would be turned on by said a performance to the music in the background…wandering again the music changed to the Weather Girls ‘Its Raining Men’ and i was instantly off put at the thought of this dancers graceful turns and twists being in time to a disco beat and including a few pelvic thrusts. Still this is pretty to watch without clouding your mind with dirty thoughts, thank you Jezebel for the sunday viewing!

a vague memory of last night

Before the vodka kicked in we were watching videos on Youtube i recall this was one of the first…its a giant game of snake that a college student created for his project by rewiring the lights in this block of flats…im guessin he got an A?

the original die antwoord

Another disguise!

Watkin Tudor Jones is a f**king bad man master of disguises, if you don’t know (well you actually probably do because as i’ve said before he’s Die Antwoords frontman) get to know! For all those waiting to be schooled please take the time to watch part 7 of the MZANSI documentary on youtube to see Da Ninja in his former dayze as the wild life cookin, golf playing, short wearing, dark haired cape town lothario Waddy Jones ;)
