Ok im up to date with my film list and concentrating on the lighter preparations for tonights impending ceremony, such as my outfit! Black, black and black this year it just seems appropriate…… by the way i will do very bad things to actually get my hands on the Piers Atkinson hat or any of the AW 2010 collection….ehem!

Mobos was this past week and predictable as ever, loved the location of Glasgow SECC (happy Noisia memories) i mean you can’t get more out of London than that and it was nice to see so many UK acts get awards but really thats what its all about innit, Music Of British/Black Origin…i always get confused since they scratched Drum n Bass! Kano one of the UK’s best mc’s in my books is set to release a new album next year featuring some pretty interesting production credits from Hot-Chip, Radio Clit and Boyz Noize…its quite an exciting project for this young fella from London, his fourth album! Summer Tour Dates!
Haven’t been bloggin’ as ferociously as i used to lately and that is kind of down to being so blooming busy with the boys from Brighton! Touring with The Qemists this year has already took me to 5 different countries, playing around 24 gigs in support of their debut album ‘Join The Q’ which is out now! Where did i even find this again? I honestly cant remember but i might have heard it on 6music which plays constantly in my kitchen when im home Mica Levi is the singer and song-writer with a keen ear and a natural talent for music, check out more of her stuff for hoovers as instruments….DOPE! Curly Teeth chinks like china and flows smoothly in a jingle-jangled tone. I think the person knitted my over-sized art house jumper listened to this whilst getting her hair cut in an asymmetrical ‘i just got out of bed’ stylee, RAD!

Less than 12 hours and im on a plane back home to blighty….definately sad to be leaving the winter sun and Aussie attitude behind. Thinking about all the things that make me smile about my little island in the freezing cold to make the trip home less stressfull…this always gets me going, thank you Regatta & Rabbi for showing me this one
