Next week im there, UK tour is in full effect for these foundations of my clubbing youth. Memories of playing this album on loop in the Smaje’s house thinking we were the baddest of the bad! I cant remember the first time i heard them but i do remember the feeling i got from the twisted synths and bass, BIG!

Listening – Fannypack
Im in Reading, working with Engine-Earz on a vocal version of Kali Yuga, woop woop! Got up bright and early this morning to catch the train from Manchester which was lovely. I had a table, charged my phone, caught up on emails, twittered when i had signal and alighted the train at my destination cool, calm and collected…. That was until i walked past a rather portly young man who took it upon him self to claim very loudly that i had a huge camel toe! (the rest of this story was twittered and to painful to repeat!)
Cue song for the day and a trip to H&M to buy a long vest… LMAO its Cameltoe from the glorious but unfortunately no more Fannypack!

Since lunch yesterday with the lovely Riot Jazz fellas i have been in mardi gras mode. Two footing around my kitchen and walkin up and down my middle room like im following a float! I was thinking about getting rid of my Reebok Pumps that i hardly wear until i seen this video. The French are so f**king cool even when their whack…How do they do that? Youtube djin a gwarn over here in Tokyo, tame afterparty in Leon Q’s room after the Ninjatune scrannathon has seen a myriad of styles and tastes searched and played for all in attendance. Reactions have been straight up hate from my fellow Canadians Thunderheist, love for the weird and technologically broke from Yppah and good old fashioned rock out by the Qemists on Red Fang…however after pissing each other off with the song genres we decided to start choosing dope ass videos that would please everyone. This was my little gem all the way from OZ part of the previously blogged DreamKatchers, N’fa. Strictly for us those who love this “artform hearts worn on our sleeve!”

Where did i even find this again? I honestly cant remember but i might have heard it on 6music which plays constantly in my kitchen when im home Mica Levi is the singer and song-writer with a keen ear and a natural talent for music, check out more of her stuff for hoovers as instruments….DOPE! Curly Teeth chinks like china and flows smoothly in a jingle-jangled tone. I think the person knitted my over-sized art house jumper listened to this whilst getting her hair cut in an asymmetrical ‘i just got out of bed’ stylee, RAD!
