starter fitted caps

August, as in now, sees the release of US sports brand Starter Black Labels‘ Lifestyle series, taking all sorts of influences from popular culture which is taking alot of  influences from the 90′s so as the pioneers of the fusion between sports and streetwear this will no doubt be a hit for them. This sneaky peak is to wet your wallets appetite for the limited edition releases exclusively available via the Refuel Store. Ok no disrespect to Middlesbrough but i did not expect to find a shop this cool here…in fact there are two Triads in the town centre these props are for the shop closet to the town hall. On first glance its a bit preppy and very man wear heavy, alternative major money labels like Lyle & Scott, Stone Island, Stussy, Levis etc. (more…)

Jell-O x Frank Kozik

The window display caught my eye Frank Kozik Clockwork Orange meets Breakfast at Tiffanys, the only colourful thing immediately present within the iron clad front of this small shop on Gardener St. On closer inspection i found Vivienne Westwood Jelly shoes,  Kidrobot trinkets  Alphabets (tempting on top of a dusty speaker) and an intriguing Beethoven/Clockwork Orange bust and this is what drew me inside… (more…)
