Steel cities finest T-Weezy aka Toddla T played a Qemists/Jenna G exclusive last night on his radio show, so exclusive it was the first time i’d even heard it ha ha, well the remix anyways! Two sundays ago The Qemists Live were up north tucked away in a valley somewhere near York for Bingley Music Live. Twas such a fun day in a random location and i reccomend if your ever in the vicinity check out this totally awesome festival. If only for the Sunday lunch at artist catering by Popcorn…mmmmmmmmmmm…the serving dude wasn’t to bad either, gave me extra tatties (more…)

Twitter mate @IamFordy asked the other day if i had any new music on the go that he hadn’t heard…me thinks he doesn’t read my blog, as of course i’ve been posting my studio sessions and releases as and when they’ve happened. Tut tut Fordy….i shouldn’t need to tell you that i have actually been working on a non dnb album since last September and hope to preview some finished tracks from those sessions at Catch 22 & Zed Bias very soon. What an amazing weekend in an awesome country, Summer Sonic 2009 Japan was one of the best live experiences i’ve ever had! Truely humbling, the two shows with the Qemists in Tokyo & Osaka were what my childhood dreams were made of 10,000 strong crowds, speaker rigs and scaffolding to climb and gyrate on, huge video screens, dressing rooms next to uber stars, autograph signings, TV interviews…the list goes on and on.
Back in Belguim for the 4th time this summer for the festival in the park… (more…)

This year touring with the Qemists has took me all over the place, we’ve played and partied quite hard, in so many cities & clubs it was inevitable that some of my possesions were gonna go walkabouts. This is just a small dedication to some of my favourite pieces no longer with us, well no longer with me some lucky f**kers found them…hope their being nice to my babies! (more…)
Yes the boys and i are back in their hometown playing tomorrow night at the Loop Festival… (more…)
Twas mad fun indeed, didnt manage to get any of the live stuff on film as all my batteries died quite early on… Spent most of the weekend with muddy feet and a smiley face, literally bumping into loads of people i knew and having a good ol knees up on various stages and in massive crowds! (more…)
So i don’t know how many of you know who Enter Shikari are but we’re on the support slot of their tour round Europe. Last night was our 2nd gig with them, the crowd was amazing and already i am very much enjoying being backstage surrounded by half naked 23 year olds, as i keep twittering!
So last night our first gig with the Shikari boys (seem like lovely chaps) in Paris the city of love…ehem i’ve had my heart broken here and broken someone elses, tis funny how i still refer to it as such! It was one of my favourite cities for quite a long time but our 40 hours here have changed that, sorry Paris.
The gig tonight was hell of good, bit of a weird one the crowd were all 16 or under…which definately put a kibosh on the crowd socializing, to be honest the dudes weren’t really that hot (they were 16 come on!) but if i was a dude and 16 the girl in the New Era would have got it…. (more…)
