working backwards

Where do i begin? Its been nearly a month since i last checked in and theres so much to post, i guess the only way is to work backwards. So im in Berlin, i’ve been here for about 5 weeks gigging around Germany. Ulm, Wurzburg, Braunschweig, Berlin every gig has been immense, have to give thanks to all that got me to their home towns and looked after me so well
Monday night just gone i DJ’d at Stereo 54 here in Berlin it was scary as hell but if i remember correctly the dance floor was moving, busy plus the awesome bar staff kept me well liquored up afterwards all gratis, so i guess i did ok! Big Shouts to Thomas & Tom for letting me spin some of my favourite tunes was very fun indeed once i got over my nerves and got used to using vinyl (serato style) again, thanks to Oscar for the helping hand! Thought i’d say thank you as well to everyone who came down by letting off this little mix that i did for FrontRoom radio early this year, my chats a bit dated, dont mind the ‘exclusive’ talk the music is still all good
twas a wonderful night :)
RIOT JAZZ Vs. Hit & Run from Dr. Treehorn on Vimeo.
Just seen the video from the last time the Riot Jazz boys and i played together in Manchester….mind out of the gutter people im talking music! Made by the fabulous Dr Treehorn and starring the raving masses that always make Riot Jazz such a special night. Shouts as always to Axel & Tom, True Tiger, Chunky, Strategy, Rich Reason (playing the trumpet very well at the end) and of course Misell my bell. Do ya self a favor if your new in town, get to know Riot Jazz, an ill see ya down the front when im back!
finally a gig in the UK :)

Hosting from 12.30-1.30 with Mutated Forms @Sno!zone Milton Keynes for Infraction part of a massive line up as you can see above. Partying with my sister and Grid Recordings crew gonna be a very fun May the 1st indeed holla if ya see us
a vague memory of last night
Before the vodka kicked in we were watching videos on Youtube i recall this was one of the first…its a giant game of snake that a college student created for his project by rewiring the lights in this block of flats…im guessin he got an A?
this weekend in manchester!

Work It absolutely smashed it last summer when it journeyed up the M1 from Visions Videos in London to The Deaf Institute in Manchester for some retro 90′s partying. Perfect timing then that the girls and crew are back in town a week after my birthday as it means i can hijack the event as a belated birthday party in my hometown! Will be doing a quick DJ set of my favourite tracks from the decade i lost my virginity in…so come down preferably in harem pants and bandage dresses for Part 2 of Work It – Manchester
Hoya Hoya @ WHP x Groovement = :)

As i embark on another club and music filled weekend my mind gleefully flits back to last Saturday night at The Warehouse Project where in room 2 presented by Hoya Hoya i had one of the best nights out in Manchester i’ve had in years! (Thank you fellas

Goodbye Swerve @ The End :(

In London one of my favourite nights for some dam good drum n bass, friendly faces and some funny stories has to be Swerve. I haven’t been in yonks and tonight im missing the final knees up for this legend of a club night at The End. Soooo wanted to be there by the far end of the bar with the usual suspects, getting my change on little trays and supping champagne, doing shots with friends reminiscing about all the fun we had in the backroom under red lights, whilst bouncing to some serious soulful drum and bass sounds. [audio:Let me edit.mp3]
November 10th a date for your diary, sees the first release on Development Music from yours truely and the mighty Zed Bias. Let me Change Your Mind is the flip to Sound of Love which features DRS & Cherie Mathieson a must for all you soul heads and rare vinyl lovers. Passed through the Development club night on Friday night to meet the crew thats putting out the track and experience the night and a brand new club Spektrum (upstairs of Sankeys with its own entrance and Watergate styled disco ceiling!). Was loads of fun, the crowd was amazing, the Development lads were lovely and its great to be working with such music lovers, tunes all night were HEAVY, shouts to Glenn Underground for some dirty sounds
Did a little PA which was so cool, technically was a nightmare, couldn’t hear myself but apparently i didn’t drop a note which Zed has a bit of footage of just to prove, lol! In the meantime why don’t you check it out for yourself above or at myspace clock up them plays baby
