Saian Supa Crew are the dope shit, (though im by far superior on the playstation, Glasto ’03 FACT) if you dont know about them then please get to know, they have been tearing up microphones for at least 12 years that i know of and have consistently kept me captivated without having had a single idea of what their on about. I think that’s the test of a good rapper, if you don’t even understand the language he’s speaking but the flow is still dope enough to keep your attention. In fact with some of the ish these rappers are calling lyrics nowadays it would be a blessing to not have to understand whats being said…i wonder if Tinchy knows french? Anyhoo this song is ridiculous and has been in my top 10 sexy hip-hop tunes since i first heard it way back when, so many sounds, instruments, vocal tones, its just straight butter….makes me want to dance around in my underwear in front of curtainless windows with a soft light on at night, ‘ahoy there neighbor!’

jesus & harry potter at mosside carnival
A week back today i was at Alexandra Park in Manchester enjoying the Mosside Carnival, the first time i’d been there in over 12 years! Shocked as i was to see Jesus and Harry Potter there i was even more surprised by the beautiful weather and rather pleasent crowd of all ages, creeds and cultures peacefully enjoying the some what community lead entertainment and tasty but pricey food. Last year or even longer ago i blog about two model Aussies i’d befriend whilst downunder called the Dreamkatchers, one of those gorgeously talented guys N’fa has now gone solo, moved to the UK and this month released his first EP, Cause an Effect. The video (above) was the directed by the late Heath Ledgar (a boyhood friend of N’fa, i was in the wrong class) and the EP on Itunes includes 5 remixes and the video for a bargin £1.79…so what are you waiting for? Wu Tang are just one of my teenage fave’s gracing the UK shores this summer (checked Snoop & Prince last week, Salt n Pepa get here in Aug!) caught a bit of the interview Raekwon done for 6music to promote the UK shows, where he says it exactly how it is with regards to artistic content of the modern day pop artist/rapper.
I cant bloody wait to see the Wu…seriously too many albums with too many tunes what the hell are they gonna fit into their live show?? Oh sooo exciting Makes you wonder though in terms of the artistic development of the modern day stars he’s talking about are Tinchy, Tinie, Dappy, Sneezy (lmao) and whoever else you lot listen to gonna be able to get back on stage in 13 years time for a WORLD TOUR? With the unoriginal A&R’ing of the UK major labels just what longevity are they creating for their artists? I’ll stop right there.

The (locally controversial) Manchester festival was much fun this weekend, i was residing for most of Saturday behind the Ape tent soaking up the sun, hanging with Chunky n crew and trying out Ustreams Iphone app that allows you to broadcast live on the interweb to your Ustream Channel from your IPhone . Now it kind of worked and it kind of didn’t for a number of reasons, one major flaw 02‘s Iphone network being quite shabby on the day (quelle surpirse!) another being my newbie set up of the app and my channel on the site itself. Also the ever flowing stream of fizzy booze didnt help but i did get few things on video, however alot of stuff i recorded using the ustream app and saved went missing….not a good look and i should of just recorded via IPhone cam…lesson learned anyways here for your viewing pleasure is a little sample of the salvaged footage from a day in the life at the park!

Caught Hoodman last night at Moho Live why isnt this fella on my tv?? Truely awesome talent who i do not see or hear enough of…remember first hearing in this tune from UK Team and Konny Kon (Broke n £nglish ) when i had my show on 1Xtra. The manny accent and free flowing story line made me home sick as hell living in London. Even though it wasn’t packed in Moho last night (shame on to many people for a number of different reasons) the vibe was live and everyone who grabbed the mic smashed it big shouts to Siege, Hoodman, Mr Fox & Freestyle for a proper hip-hop evening

Offline all of yesterday thanks to my Imac being the spawn of the human centipede, i.e. f**king grimm! Have lost 3 songs, 4 backing tracks i was writing to and umpteen thousand pictures and videos AGAIN.
