Title to be read in a Daft Punk when they were good voice Ho hum. So what a gwarn? Tons im guessin for me and you so lets just get straight into it, today i cant stop thinking about sex. Its like my mind keeps switching off and when i come to im just stood there with a really graphic thought in my head. The latest one consisted of the new Superman in his Immortals outfit (leather and sweat) and the dairy isle of Hulmes’ Asda, which is funny cause i dont drink milk.
In other news its SUMMER! That is official as it hasn’t rained in Manchester since last week however someone should tell that to the house down the road from me as they have their washing hung up in the front room…apart from peeking into my neighbours windows i have been spending the glorious summertime gigging with The Engine-Earz familia and in my garden getting my green fingers on. Pause for a Bruce Banner thought ;P Yesterday keeping me company in the garden was the briliant Space Love mixtape by Buenos Aires finest Bad Boy Orange. Felt like i was on a rooftop in Palermo (i miss that place) listening to this electric selection, such good vibes it would be rude not to share the love. Heres to the weekend people x
Finally its ready to unleash on the world, mine and Dies new tune 1000 soul songs or as its affectionately known up in Gutterfunk HQ 1000 mixdowns Big shout to Mistajam for playin it twice Monday night and huge respect to all the people giving such lovely feedback. Due for release in summer we dedicate this one to the loves that inspired it xx
Out Now is the 80′s homage from Krystal Klear and myself Addiction on Rinse, i popped into the label HQ in East London last week to record a live version for their Rinse Sessions. Helping me out with the acoustic backing was EngineEarz/Arusha Accord guitarist Tom Hollings and JLS newest band member Jack Guppy who did an excellent job had really fun day thanks to them, Julie and the drive time crew. See how it all went down above

Whilst everyone else its appears is in Croatia right now im consoling myself with this mix from the very talented Mr Ruckspin, got my beach towel out in the back yard and a cocktail or two on hand. Eyes closed they’ll be no difference #yeahright! Shouts to all festival massive enjoying the sun and sounds right now, salute to the summer or at least a sporadic sunny manchester day
So i like to make mixes, not club mixes i dont consider myself a club DJ, just selections of good tunes old/new, accoustic/electronic etc wrapped around themes. If you ever checked out Frontroom Radio you’ll see what i mean however i slowly stopped making that mostly because the sound of my own voice irked me somewhat but without a little explanation the mixes seemed quite jumbled. Anyways so i still wanna make mixes with a varied selection of tunes but i dont wanna bore anyone either (im in a paranoid phase artistically right now) so i came up with the 20/20 idea. 20 songs in 20 minutes that will hopefully have you digging out some old records or hunting for something new. I want to see if DJing like Tim Westwood with songs that are better than just there chorus can actually work…so here goes the first session, a reclamation of songs that speak love.
Dubphisix does it again this time featuring the Manchester Veteran Mc Fox. Video is EPIC Chimpo and George san you got some moves yo! lol

Yeah thats me, its been way too long and im doubting theres even one person left reading this because of my utter slackness but im not gonna lie its been a hard, mad year and its made me very lazy in terms of blogging. So much to catch up on…some might say even too much so im not gonna back track too much, more try to push things forward
Right now im in my kitchen still suffering from jet lag after an awesome week in LA. Big shouts to the Winter Fresh Crew for getting me over there and to all the faces that took me places, i particularly enjoyed driving on the wrong side of the road for the first time…not as scary as i thought it would be thanks to the perfect soundtrack provided by Backspin radio, literally every song you want to hear about Cali/LA when your drivin through it
Speaking of scary no doubt alot of you will have witnessed Strategy’s Voodoo priest get up for the terror dome anthem from DubPhisix, Skeptical & himself ‘Marka‘. Absolute salute to the Manc contingency on this one, the video which is already over 100,000 views on the tube is like an excerpt from a movie i wouldnt watch alone. Nice to see alot of support for this track which no doubt will be smacking a speaker system near you over the festive period!
