Finally its ready to unleash on the world, mine and Dies new tune 1000 soul songs or as its affectionately known up in Gutterfunk HQ 1000 mixdowns Big shout to Mistajam for playin it twice Monday night and huge respect to all the people giving such lovely feedback. Due for release in summer we dedicate this one to the loves that inspired it xx
We made it back from Sardinia and the wild roads of Europe, i swear thought i was dead 2 times in France thanks to Dads sporadically bad driving. Apart from that Laundry day and Sun & Bass were so much fun, The G family officially love Sardinia which as always was a joy, big shouts to all crew that made it so. Henry loved the beaches of San Teadoro, he even had his first swim 100m off shore (what a brave little puppy!) and got the first stamp in his passport! Since our return my Dad has bought his first espresso pot and is planning on annoyingly answering the telephone in Italian for the rest of his life ‘Bon Journo’. It was funny to spending time with him on the road, even if his stick shift driving is a bit rusty we had a lot of fun taking wrong turns, passing through borders stoned, buying alcohol at motorway service stations, telling tour stories and singing along to the epic collection of music i loaded onto a USB stick for the snazzy system in the hire car. 8gbs of musical entertainment easily saw us through the 28 hours of road time clocked up over 3000km of road in 7 countries, wanted to give you a taster but how do i boil that down to 20 minutes?
Start her up to find out

Do people still play handheld consoles that arent a smartphone or ipad? Sony says yes and celebrates with an official launch party…somehow i got invited (If i hadnt off i would’ve been pissed…danke Mr Reason x) and so a few weeks back i ate mini canapes and swilled free booze whilst listening to Tim Westwood play 30 secs of every club banger i’ve ever known and spotting premiership footballers. From what i can remember it was a lot of fun indeed. Thank you PS Vita, thank you Rich Reason, thank you Manchester always a big turn out when there’s free grog up for grabs Pics after the jump…
A huge thanks to Chimp Magazine for two very fun experiences this month, my first front cover on their bestselling Manchester whats on guide and my first time reaching for a magazine off the top shelf. Yes thats right my face right next to someones mum holding her very ample breasts, like two raw turkeys savagely against her chest. I dont know why Etchells figured this was top shelf material but either way im thankful for the experience and for such a lovely interview, Seamus thank you very much, another reason im back blogging for the time being The magazine is out now in well stocked newsagents in the manny area, if its not at the counter look on the top shelf ;P
Yeah thats me, its been way too long and im doubting theres even one person left reading this because of my utter slackness but im not gonna lie its been a hard, mad year and its made me very lazy in terms of blogging. Right now im in my kitchen still suffering from jet lag after an awesome week in LA. Big shouts to the Winter Fresh Crew for getting me over there and to all the faces that took me places, i particularly enjoyed driving on the wrong side of the road for the first time…not as scary as i thought it would be thanks to the perfect soundtrack provided by Backspin radio, literally every song you want to hear about Cali/LA when your drivin through it
Speaking of scary no doubt alot of you will have witnessed Strategy’s Voodoo priest get up for the terror dome anthem from DubPhisix, Skeptical & himself ‘Marka‘. Absolute salute to the Manc contingency on this one, the video which is already over 100,000 views on the tube is like an excerpt from a movie i wouldnt watch alone.
