A huge thanks to Chimp Magazine for two very fun experiences this month, my first front cover on their bestselling Manchester whats on guide and my first time reaching for a magazine off the top shelf. Yes thats right my face right next to someones mum holding her very ample breasts, like two raw turkeys savagely against her chest. I dont know why Etchells figured this was top shelf material but either way im thankful for the experience and for such a lovely interview, Seamus thank you very much, another reason im back blogging for the time being 
The magazine is out now in well stocked newsagents in the manny area, if its not at the counter look on the top shelf ;P

The Lazy Blogger
Yeah thats me, its been way too long and im doubting theres even one person left reading this because of my utter slackness but im not gonna lie its been a hard, mad year and its made me very lazy in terms of blogging. So much to catch up on…some might say even too much so im not gonna back track too much, more try to push things forward
Right now im in my kitchen still suffering from jet lag after an awesome week in LA. Big shouts to the Winter Fresh Crew for getting me over there and to all the faces that took me places, i particularly enjoyed driving on the wrong side of the road for the first time…not as scary as i thought it would be thanks to the perfect soundtrack provided by Backspin radio, literally every song you want to hear about Cali/LA when your drivin through it
Speaking of scary no doubt alot of you will have witnessed Strategy’s Voodoo priest get up for the terror dome anthem from DubPhisix, Skeptical & himself ‘Marka‘. Absolute salute to the Manc contingency on this one, the video which is already over 100,000 views on the tube is like an excerpt from a movie i wouldnt watch alone. Nice to see alot of support for this track which no doubt will be smacking a speaker system near you over the festive period!
In closing i obviously have to direct anyone in the Manchester area towards The Ritz tomorrow night (Monday) for Hit n Run vs Riot Jazz. Ill be jumping on for a few tunes with the RJ Brass Band ad mist a heavy line up as always ft Silkie, Drumagik and more

Manchester is repping pretty hard right now, lots of artists making some BIG moves and GREAT music, STANDARD So Mondays are now OFFICIALLY dedicated to all things musical from my city. First up on my magical Manc melody tour is the ever troublesome but always lovable Skittles with his new single Tip-i-cal-ly from the forthcoming album ‘Poor with £100 trainers’ if the title hasn’t got you wanting more already then maybe 2010′s free download of the pre:P will get you salivating for the album which drops this year! live @ pixel party, bogota!
South America was an experience and a half for me, is so good to see the videos & pictures from a crazy 10 days popping up on my facebook and the like, big thanks to all crew that took the time to come down and make such special memories of the performances, will be posting more as and when i find! Big up to Rockman for the edits on this video a nice little sampler of my new live solo show (happening tonight in Manchester @ Miami so glad everyone enjoyed the sets and made me feel right at home where ever i was! Bogota it was cold outside but in doors we definately heat up the dance x

Wow you lot like to make memories dont ya? Found so many of videos from the tour so far, big shouts to all who’ve been down to the gigs seriously have had the most amount of fun performing for ya’ll. Heres the final song from the Santiago show, which by the way is my new favourite place i soooo wanna retire there when im old and grey and of course have married a hot Chilean…..ehem Thanks to BassCode TV for posting this little reminder and heres hoping to do it all again, just a little bit different next year

Little sneaky peak at want went on in the sweat box also known as K Club in Sao Paulo, seriously it was the hottest i’ve ever been on stage….dont let the fan fool you it was spitting out hot air, next time i suggest a pool party in bikinis and obviously without the pool!!!!! Big shouts to the crowd who were amazing and of course, DJ Andy for getting me over there and showing me the real Sao Paulo and all the Subgrave crew, cant wait to come back

Im knackered but wide awake with nervous energy, kinda how i’ve been feeling since landing on this awesome continent Monday morning. Straight to the beach with Omar from the airport through the worl of Caracas traffic via Valencia to make my yearly pilgrimage to Maracoy where one day i hope to own a house with a boat, (somewhere in the distance of the above picture) your all welcome to visit and we can spend the days cruising round the islands stopping off at the most secluded beaches eating areapas with cheese and drinking beer in the sun! vampires, homebrew & expensive condoms
Twas my first time in Romania last weekend alongside Kabuki for the TM10 Base Festival in Timisoara, met some great people, extremely kind and a lot of fun thanks to all that got us over there for the show
Now Im not trying to be ignorant at all (i was made to choose between history & geography in high school and saw myself as a historian rather than a traveller back then) but until looking in the back of the inflight magazine on my way to Romania i actually had no idea where i was going. In fact to sound completely ignorant the most i knew about this distance and quite romantic sounding land of Romania was that Dracula had once lived there…if you believe all you read or see in Hollywood epics you’ll also find the grounds of Highgate, Hampstead and Whitby quite hallowed however here i was en route to Transylvania…ok ok i know stupid it was Timisoara and i knew this shallow teenage vampire fantasy of mine was based on tired media steroetypes and so i was on my best behaviour on leaving the airplane and tried my very best not see Dracula references EVERYWHERE…..
working backwards
Where do i begin? Its been nearly a month since i last checked in and theres so much to post, i guess the only way is to work backwards. So im in Berlin, i’ve been here for about 5 weeks gigging around Germany. Ulm, Wurzburg, Braunschweig, Berlin every gig has been immense, have to give thanks to all that got me to their home towns and looked after me so well Monday night just gone i DJ’d at Stereo 54 here in Berlin it was scary as hell but if i remember correctly the dance floor was moving, busy plus the awesome bar staff kept me well liquored up afterwards all gratis, so i guess i did ok! Big Shouts to Thomas & Tom for letting me spin some of my favourite tunes was very fun indeed once i got over my nerves and got used to using vinyl (serato style) again, thanks to Oscar for the helping hand! Thought i’d say thank you as well to everyone who came down by letting off this little mix that i did for FrontRoom radio early this year, my chats a bit dated, dont mind the ‘exclusive’ talk the music is still all good
