He’s created quite possibly the funnest mixes i’ve heard in a while, a D&B selection vs a host of Beatles songs , it aint half bad! Finally got my pictures on me mac from 2 weekends ago in Ravensburg, players ville south Germany…and i say that cause its famous for board games, hence a random blue monopoly house on the hill outside of town!
Was a really nice gig at Douala, i even got a stripper stage minus pole and the locals seemed to enjoy the performance, two even got me to sign their arms! I danced the rest of the night away in the back room with a Lemmy lookalike who’s worked at the club for 14 years, his English was as good as my German (next to none) but we giggled so much about nothing in particular til Lars started dropping the dubstep and I retired to the dj booth for some private skanking, not long after that Panda was looking a little fragile, so i had to take him back to the hotel, ready for the trip over Lake Konstanz back to Zurich in the following hours. The gig, the trip, the people were lovely, see for ya self ….
the curious case of my birthday present…
About a month ago i posted a dilema about trainers, in that there weren’t any good ones out in time for my birthday. One person who answered that post offered to send me a present…obviously i was under the impression that it was going to be a pair of trainers (even though as soon as i thought that i knew i was setting myself up) so imagine my surprise (or not) when i opened up the parcel and found this…

Ok i’ve definately got the date right on this one (its been one of those weeks!) this weekend im in a place i’ve never been before and if your from where im gonna be it would be lovely if you came down and made me feel at home! Ravensburg massive (or not so massive not sure how big the town is!) and the rest of the south Germany crew cant wait to see ya front and centre!!!

Ha ha, well almost, my new home project made in the comfort of my front room its called Front Room Radio (original huh?) and consists of all the music i’ve picked up on my club crawls across this big wide world. First episode is a look back at 2010 so far heading to Germany, Belguim, Montenegro, South Africa and Austria with a little exclusive from yours truely, music from Camo & Krooked, DJ Amaning, Kos & Tenchu, Disaszt, Die Antwoord, Bass Ill Euro and more! Best thing is its on Mixcloud which means if enough people listen then all the music on there gets there just deserves royalty wise, genius…now can someone make a platform that works the same way and allows downloading/podcasting, thanks in advance. My surreal Sunday.
This time a few weeks back i was about to have one of the surrealist sundays i’ve had in a long time. Giant pumpkins, flamingos, musical toadstools, more pumpkins, donkeys that spit chocolate coins, a broken camera, Victorian swings and Rapunzel’s tower are just a few of the things that spun my sober and therefore fragile little mind right out on a trip to Fairytale Land… (more…)

We Love Bass!
My final night in Germany was spent in Stuttgart, MC’in for DJ Tease @ We Love Bass.
Was a very fun night indeed @ Club Bounce which used to be a brothel…in fact its located in Stuttgarts redlight district which is literally one street an and ally, lol. So wish my camera wasnt acting up (again) was alot of pictures i wanted to take (quite a few hot guys as well, oh hello) however i will have to make do with the memories being etched on my brain for a long time! Big up to everyone that came down was dope to see so many familiar faces, can’t believe i remembered most of you too, cause last time i was here we was D Runk!! Massive thanks to Tease for getting me over here again and of course my partner in crime the lovely Tina.
We’re doing the traditional Beerfest trip this afternoon, for foot high beers, massive German sausages and rollercoaster rides…

Tour Diary Day 10 – Hamburg
Not in a good mood today, the ankle is pissing me off and the codeine has worn off severely, have made the decision to drink instead of drug the pain away thanks to yesterdays shenanigans! Slept in the cot for most of journey from Cologne, im thinking until im better its the only comfortable place to be in the van with my leg up!
Quite a mellow evening apart from my twitter apology from Rory for calling me a bitch and the gig in which we changed up the set a little and got another killer reaction from the crowd. Its mad fun playing for Shikari fans their well up for new music the merch is selling and everybody’s happy at the end of the night! I would have liked to go out and explore what this city had to offer but walking isnt the easiest right now and i have to be able to jump around for half an hour every evening onstage which means foot up whenever im off..
Tour Diary Day 8 – Bochum
Ow ow ow ow, its the morning after a very rowdy night before. We had a great gig in Bochum, even if i was in the worst of moods by the end of it, however a good old knees up ( ankles down) with The Qemists and Enter Shikari soon changed the mood….
Tour Diary – Day 7, Bochum
Its a beautiful day here in Bochum, we’ve all just arrived at the club Zeche after a lovely morning buying crap in the small city centre of Bochum, big up to the first Starbucks of the tour, bliss!
Im sat back stage whilst Enter are sound-checking my favourite song Juggernaut, i keep waking up singing this bitch seriously the choon is the shizzle! Has also been first day with the Shikari crew after our riot bonding sesh in Brussels, has been some jokes this afternoon i tell thee.Anyways here goes tour diary day 7, which by the way was another day off here in the bountiful Bochum!
After an amazing day n night in Brussels (where im sure the ankle first began to hurt) we headed on over the border to Bochum, which we all thought was in Poland but is actually in Germany, go figure genius’s! On route we watched Chopper as we finally had the dvd player working, all it took was a little slap and a poke from Timmy two dinners, he the man!
So Bochum….is interesting, our first experience of a Formula One hotel aka swingers town! This hotel was my worst nightmare for real, bunk beds, communal toilets (VD’S) and showers (verruca’s), with red and green lights over head…like that was suppose to be cute, in my first 30 mins in the hotel i seen 4 men roaming the corridor in their undies, very tight white undies and they weren’t even fit!! The Qemists x Enter Shikari
OMG its official, The Qemists wil be supportting Enter Shikari in April during their European tour. We’re hitting up France, Belguim, Austria, Germany and some other country i have never heard of! Woop woop, rock n roll baby…maybe i’ll get my rock god husband a little sooner than i expected, lmao! All joking aside though im really excited, this band were the best thing i got from my last relationship and they are f**king killer on stage, their music’s definately not for the faint hearted. Really think we’re all gonna learn an awful lot out there…tee hee, as well as get some sick tour scars and stories lol!
