We havent even had a hint of summer in 2011 but already im lusting after a new winter wardrobe thanks to Gareth Pughs F/W 11 collection. Leather, layers, long lines, killer wedge boots and lavish under eye accessories, i might just have to go goth this next winter!
Jean Paul Gaultier my acronym name twin (par the p) & Madonna back in the days when she wasnt a butch granny and fashion was sexy & shocking, not skeletal & saturated! Yes more French fancies popping up on my radar, this time VS mag is biting my Gaelic inspirations!?! Sacre bleu (what ever that means) can it be i’ve started a French trend….or is it the fact now im feeling all red white and vertical blue i cant help but notice all the French things surrounding me? Click the pic to watch this classic catwalk moment, ladies you will want some or at least one swear!
If i was rich i would shop at only a few places for all my fashion wants and needs. Chanel, Mercibeaucoup and of course Lila Pix. If you are rich and you’ve never been to any of these places…SHAME ON YOU, make your way to Lindengasse 5 right now because you want to lead not follow right?
Here in the city of Vienna for tonights Gina Drewes catwalk show, im positively beside myself with excitement as ill be appearing as the last model of the show and busting a little sing song Sandie Shaw style in my mourning kimono…also i just found that there’ll be a shit load of male models hanging around all day due to the other shows being just for men, life is just too good right now, dont hate me it will probably only last the weekend If you cant make it to the show then head on down the the Banana Club after 12 for a another fabulous outfit and some seriously huge shoulder pads……tee hee!
Song for the day and finally the end of 2 years of trying to remember the name of the first woman in pop to shave the sides of her head a la last years hard to die trend…im not even getting into why thats important, just know that it is. Heard this on 6Music yesterday and couldn’t help but jump around to it whilst in the shower, sounds dangerous but it was actually in a very safe 80′s montage kind of way, here’s Bow Wow Wow with I want Candy, yay now bring on the weekend!
I have no idea what the hell this is about, but if this crowd and car climbing on Brick Lane was inspired by an American Apparel sale shop im glad i live in Manchester. In fact didn’t they also riot on Londons Oxford street when they opened Primark & IKea in Edmonton? Dam them southerners are so gully about cheap shit!
This week on Twitter there has been some serious feminine appreciation, you could even say gyal crushing after becoming distantly aquainted with an LA based chica named Creation Cave after a very helpful tweet about fashion, we #ff’d each other and now im giving her some blog love for her brand new dopely titled Lovesicles blog all about her love for, you guessed it, popsicles. As the blog tagline reads: ‘If you like it then you shoulda put a stick in it!’ need i say more? Read.bookmark.crush but remember i seen her first!
Ok im up to date with my film list and concentrating on the lighter preparations for tonights impending ceremony, such as my outfit! Black, black and black this year it just seems appropriate…… by the way i will do very bad things to actually get my hands on the Piers Atkinson hat or any of the AW 2010 collection….ehem!
Today Gina and I went with the photographer (Giorgio) to check out the location for her shoot tomorrow. (more…)

Its official Jedward can die a slow painful death not because of the debacle that is X Factor and their hideous lack of talent (see above). Not because of their incestuous lust for fame and their wilingness to do anything for it no no no. On Saturday night these identicle spasms crossed the line of no return…… (more…)
Back in college before changing my course to music i was studying AV design which included 3 months immersed in the world of cubism which fascinated me. Years later the above Becks campaign obviously caught my eye but it wasn’t until Miho twittered me last week about a Japanese artist that i discovered the amazing work of Tadaomi Shibuya. (more…)
Ok im all about what ever you wanna be, do, represent, label yourself as…im a big supporter of the fact that we are our biggest fans (or at least should be, so shout about it). I especially love those fortunate souls from the old smoke (London) who can look further a field than the M25, maximum props to any media opp that shines a light on my home town… So it’s not necessarily a bad thing then that this particular episode of Super Super (produced by Ele:ven for Channel 4.) had me falling off my stool laughing is it? (more…)
Now as much as i love fashion nowadays im more a window shopper than an avid buyer…yes it hurts but one has to get down to get on up and who knows maybe by the time these beauties from London Fashion Week are out (2010) i will have won the lottery, written a worldwide number one or be the recipient of some hefty monetary gift from an amorous oil Barron and be able to buy them all…even the male models (more…)
Ok you might have tantric sex session with mousy vegans that yell in native tribal calls and keep me awake all night long, but i think the over the fence conversations and seasonal get togethers would be delicious
