Im thinking this year theres gonna be alot of sick house parties in San Teodoro this September judging by some of these DJ mixes from festival goers hoping to win a set at this years Sun & Bass. London got Blitzkrieg’d this week by my brother from another mother Kabuki promoting his excellent new album Warrior Soul. He passed through DNB TV, Kool FM, Swerve and the hallowed halls of 1Xtra click the links to listen back to him and Bailey chew the fat over the airwaves, twas a very nice show indeed. Last weekend was at the Hare & Hound in Birmingham for the Utah Jazz album party longside the man himself, Nu:Tone and STanza. Massive thanks to Ric for inviting me down there was a very fun night (apart from the weird guy who replied to me answering his question about Burger Bar shouts with ‘thats a great answer for a journalist’…ok then mate). Spent a lovely afternoon a few weeks back in the hallowed halls of Drum & Bass Arena, met a fair few of the office crew who make up the tour de force team (and are all lovely, even the one who doesn’t speak much and is stuck in the dark corner), played a few new tracks and then did a little interview in the park down the road. Twas very nice Watch my guinness world record attempt for the most amount of words per minute, as i ramble on about my d&b history, collaborations and new album. Oh and i apologize now for the shakey Geordie accent, sorry fam! Big thanks to all the guys at Drum & Bass Arena and HAPPY 100th SHOW for tonight ya’ll

STFD splash – subfocus ft coco
This tune from the Talented Mr Ripley aka Subfocus was a classic without a vocal but i absolutely love how Coco has turned this dance floor smasher into a hard core indie pop tune. I only wish the serious looking dude in the video was Nick, he would have smashed that role, making a very credible artist/producer appearance, Mr Ripley the camera loves you and i hope to see you in your own video soon

Steel cities finest T-Weezy aka Toddla T played a Qemists/Jenna G exclusive last night on his radio show, so exclusive it was the first time i’d even heard it ha ha, well the remix anyways! Ill never be a comedian, however i make my self laugh which is the most important thing Finally got my pictures on me mac from 2 weekends ago in Ravensburg, players ville south Germany…and i say that cause its famous for board games, hence a random blue monopoly house on the hill outside of town!
Was a really nice gig at Douala, i even got a stripper stage minus pole and the locals seemed to enjoy the performance, two even got me to sign their arms! I danced the rest of the night away in the back room with a Lemmy lookalike who’s worked at the club for 14 years, his English was as good as my German (next to none) but we giggled so much about nothing in particular til Lars started dropping the dubstep and I retired to the dj booth for some private skanking, not long after that Panda was looking a little fragile, so i had to take him back to the hotel, ready for the trip over Lake Konstanz back to Zurich in the following hours. The gig, the trip, the people were lovely, see for ya self ….
breaking my slovakian virginty…
This weekend im going to Slovakia for the first time ever, playing for the Drumatique crew in Bratislavia and rounding up my epic birthday month (yes im still celebrating!). If your local or not you need to get down and witness the fitness that myself, Axiom and the Drumatique DJs will be flexing! Oh and please be gentle with me people its my first time in your wonderful country

If you read this blog often you’ll know im a big massive huge fan of Buenos Aires premiere dnb night +160 and its legendary promoter/DJ Bad Boy Orange . Can honestly say one of my favourite places in the world to play alongside W10’s Danny Wheeler of course, the vibe, the people, the club, the city are simply cosmic Heres a little sample of our second trip down to BA in Dec 2009 courtesy of D-ART and featuring VJ-Gi. Ok i’ve definately got the date right on this one (its been one of those weeks!) this weekend im in a place i’ve never been before and if your from where im gonna be it would be lovely if you came down and made me feel at home! Ravensburg massive (or not so massive not sure how big the town is!) and the rest of the south Germany crew cant wait to see ya front and centre!!!
