new tune out soon….
Artwork by Mark Trashynsky is finished for my feature with Mutated Forms….some people say we look like the Ghostbusters in this pic…just who in the Ghostbusters had an afro, the black guy had a skiffle mate! Anyways the single was written early this year and based on the thought process after an unknown goodbye, ‘Last Time‘ is out very soon on Allsorts, shouts to Crissy Criss for the support and of course the Mutated Lads, cant wait to work with ya’ll again
sun & bass competition mixes – edanuk
Im thinking this year theres gonna be alot of sick house parties in San Teodoro this September judging by some of these DJ mixes from festival goers hoping to win a set at this years Sun & Bass. Theres enough entries to give me a daily fix until the off lets hope there all as good as this from EdanUK, i can almost feel the sun coming through my speakers on this selection perfect for getting reayd after a day at the beach
im taking you out bitch!
And i dont mean to a movie! OOoooh it only took a year to make but this video was so worth the wait, witness men turn to women, flutes as weapons, Huw Stephens and me acting aggy (once again) and being dragged out of a club in this video for Fray from Nerm & D-Code ft Orifice Vulgatron (Foreign Beggars).
Remix from NSG can be found here Fray is the next single from the album Phasmatis In Machina!
warrior souls!

London got Blitzkrieg’d this week by my brother from another mother Kabuki promoting his excellent new album Warrior Soul. He passed through DNB TV, Kool FM, Swerve and the hallowed halls of 1Xtra click the links to listen back to him and Bailey chew the fat over the airwaves, twas a very nice show indeed. Watch out for me and Kabuki playing in Romania, Serbia (hopefully) and Japan later on in the year. Shouts to the online crew in Yalding for the pics, ya large
(more…)
call me Aunt Jemima
Whoever made this is in my top ten favourite people right now, Im loving being a big black singing mama in this official video for mine and Netskys collab, Moving with You!
lyrically speaking
Ok so me and Engine-Earz are going head to head on AIM with a dnb video clash…we’re trying to make each other fall of our studio chairs laughing. So far this is taking the biscuit and inciting ROFLCOPTERs!

beatles vs drum and bass (free download)

Just got a link this morning from Headliner journo and DJ Ly da Buddah who i got very drunk with @ Brainklub, Braunscwheig earlier in the year. He’s created quite possibly the funnest mixes i’ve heard in a while, a D&B selection vs a host of Beatles songs , it aint half bad! Download it yourself for free, have a listen and a sing along to ‘Hey Jude its Noisia’ ‘Hello Goodbye Blabbermouth’ & ‘Get Back Snaggletooth’ (my own titles!) just some of the many classic mash ups in this selection! Tracklisting after the jump.
mum im on dnbtv!
Spent a lovely afternoon a few weeks back in the hallowed halls of Drum & Bass Arena, met a fair few of the office crew who make up the tour de force team (and are all lovely, even the one who doesn’t speak much and is stuck in the dark corner), played a few new tracks and then did a little interview in the park down the road. Twas very nice
Watch my guinness world record attempt for the most amount of words per minute, as i ramble on about my d&b history, collaborations and new album. Oh and i apologize now for the shakey Geordie accent, sorry fam! Big thanks to all the guys at Drum & Bass Arena and HAPPY 100th SHOW for tonight ya’ll
2 days to go and its yours!
Just Hold On from Kabuki ft me is out on Monday, support an awesome artist and receive 2 insanely good tracks on this double AA featuring Jeru the Damaja on the flip with ‘Watch Your Step’. Big thanks to all DJs who have supported so far and of course the playlist commitee at 1Xtra . Both tracks taken from the forthcoming album Warrior Soul on V Recordings, enjoy the little video i made in honour of the release and hold on tight!
SFTD – incredible – mbeat ft g.levy
Too many tunes at last nights Ballin on a Budget thrown down by Chimpo, Toddla T, Zed Bias, STrategy & Konny Kon…could do a hundred tracks for the day but this one was the one i woke up with in my head! Slip mat down in the bath for some safe shower skanking!
finally a gig in the UK :)

Hosting from 12.30-1.30 with Mutated Forms @Sno!zone Milton Keynes for Infraction part of a massive line up as you can see above. Partying with my sister and Grid Recordings crew gonna be a very fun May the 1st indeed holla if ya see us
STFD splash – subfocus ft coco
This tune from the Talented Mr Ripley aka Subfocus was a classic without a vocal but i absolutely love how Coco has turned this dance floor smasher into a hard core indie pop tune. I only wish the serious looking dude in the video was Nick, he would have smashed that role, making a very credible artist/producer appearance, Mr Ripley the camera loves you and i hope to see you in your own video soon
toddla t x qemists ft jennag x radio 1 = exclusive!
Steel cities finest T-Weezy aka Toddla T played a Qemists/Jenna G exclusive last night on his radio show, so exclusive it was the first time i’d even heard it ha ha, well the remix anyways! Twas a big show all round listen back if you were square and not there when it aired! (click the pic). Qemists Soundsystem will be all over the festivals this year so make sure you represent for the Brighton fam innit gigs are up on their myspace
sing it like kd lang – konstanz raven(sburg)

Ill never be a comedian, however i make my self laugh which is the most important thing
Finally got my pictures on me mac from 2 weekends ago in Ravensburg, players ville south Germany…and i say that cause its famous for board games, hence a random blue monopoly house on the hill outside of town!

Was a really nice gig at Douala, i even got a stripper stage minus pole and the locals seemed to enjoy the performance, two even got me to sign their arms! I danced the rest of the night away in the back room with a Lemmy lookalike who’s worked at the club for 14 years, his English was as good as my German (next to none) but we giggled so much about nothing in particular til Lars started dropping the dubstep and I retired to the dj booth for some private skanking, not long after that Panda was looking a little fragile, so i had to take him back to the hotel, ready for the trip over Lake Konstanz back to Zurich in the following hours. The gig, the trip, the people were lovely, see for ya self ….
breaking my slovakian virginty…

This weekend im going to Slovakia for the first time ever, playing for the Drumatique crew in Bratislavia and rounding up my epic birthday month (yes im still celebrating!). If your local or not you need to get down and witness the fitness that myself, Axiom and the Drumatique DJs will be flexing! Oh and please be gentle with me people its my first time in your wonderful country
another amazing night ;)
If you read this blog often you’ll know im a big massive huge fan of Buenos Aires premiere dnb night +160 and its legendary promoter/DJ Bad Boy Orange . Can honestly say one of my favourite places in the world to play alongside W10’s Danny Wheeler of course, the vibe, the people, the club, the city are simply cosmic
Heres a little sample of our second trip down to BA in Dec 2009 courtesy of D-ART and featuring VJ-Gi. Thanks so much to the Bad Boy for the link to this it makes me smile remembering such a good time
raving in ravensburg

Ok i’ve definately got the date right on this one (its been one of those weeks!) this weekend im in a place i’ve never been before and if your from where im gonna be it would be lovely if you came down and made me feel at home! Ravensburg massive (or not so massive not sure how big the town is!) and the rest of the south Germany crew cant wait to see ya front and centre!!!
