Pete Philly & Perquisite
So i finally met my lil bro Harry Vah, he stayed over with the Qemists in Antwerp. Was mad fun hanging with him, we talked about our hearts, life and lots of music. This group he played me and instantly i was hooked, hailing from Holland Pete Philly & Perquisite have that old school hip-hop sound, live instruments, pianos, flutes, positive vibes and laid back flows. Their mission is to bring analog sounds back in times of plastic, you gotta love em. I downloaded their album Mystery Repeats from Itunes after hearing just one track from it on their myspace, I dare you not to do the same esp. if your an old skool hip-hop lover!
Last night in Belgrade…
Dam you internet people are so quick. Andrea3thousand over there on Youtube already has a little piece of the action from last night @ Club Plastic in Belgrade up online…of course Kabuki, as always, smacked it…this was the end to our very fun set, i do believe its a classic. Big up Lady heres to us making a million from our dnb dance….when we decide what its gonna be

Goodbye Swerve @ The End :(
In London one of my favourite nights for some dam good drum n bass, friendly faces and some funny stories has to be Swerve. I haven’t been in yonks and tonight im missing the final knees up for this legend of a club night at The End. Soooo wanted to be there by the far end of the bar with the usual suspects, getting my change on little trays and supping champagne, doing shots with friends reminiscing about all the fun we had in the backroom under red lights, whilst bouncing to some serious soulful drum and bass sounds.
