snaps from saturday

Levant lift

Last Saturday i was in London via Reading performing with The Engine-Earz at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the amazing Raj:Reload. The gig absolutely smashed it with the seated venue turning into what can only be called the Queen Elizabeth Dance Hall once E=E was on stage, lol, alot of fun had by all in attendance on the Southbank for some truely inspiring performances. The party carried on until the wee hours of the morning and the lovely Levant/sequester captured some classic moments from backstage and beyond, simply a dope weekend.

Jenna G Braunschweig

Wow what a mad weekend, my name up on one of those old school cinema style boards and cheeseburgers brought to me in bed…i am a very lucky girl…woman…lady…person?? lol :) No pictures from the Braun of schweig im afraid apart from this one above took by a raver (danke) it was ridiculously fun but i got very drunk, being a little nervous my first time in the city alone and all, I kept a hold of my drink rather than my camera, however Modfest was a different story… (more…)

Thank Q Summer Sonic!

Summer Sonic Mountain Stage 2009

What an amazing weekend in an awesome country, Summer Sonic 2009 Japan was one of the best live experiences i’ve ever had! Truely humbling, the two shows with the Qemists in Tokyo & Osaka were what my childhood dreams were made of 10,000 strong crowds, speaker rigs and scaffolding to climb and gyrate on, huge video screens, dressing rooms next to uber stars, autograph signings, TV interviews…the list goes on and on.

Tour Diary Day 10 – Hamburg

HamburgNot in a good mood today, the ankle is pissing me off and the codeine has worn off severely, have made the decision to drink instead of drug the pain away thanks to yesterdays shenanigans! Slept in the cot for most of journey from Cologne, im thinking until im better its the only comfortable place to be in the van with my leg up!

Quite a mellow evening apart from my twitter apology from Rory for calling me a bitch and the gig in which we changed up the set a little and got another killer reaction from the crowd. Its mad fun playing for Shikari fans their well up for new music the merch is selling and everybody’s happy at the end of the night! I would have liked to go out and explore what this city had to offer but walking isnt the easiest right now and i have to be able to jump around for half an hour every evening onstage which means foot up whenever im off..HamburgCrowd @ Musichalle

Oww my ankle i cant walk!

Ow ow ow ow, its the morning after a very rowdy night before. We had a great gig in Bochum, even if i was in the worst of moods by the end of it, however a good old knees up ( ankles down) with The Qemists and Enter Shikari soon changed the mood….
