jesus & harry potter at mosside carnival
A week back today i was at Alexandra Park in Manchester enjoying the Mosside Carnival, the first time i’d been there in over 12 years! Shocked as i was to see Jesus and Harry Potter there i was even more surprised by the beautiful weather and rather pleasent crowd of all ages, creeds and cultures peacefully enjoying the some what community lead entertainment and tasty but pricey food. Im off to live in Berlin for two months at the end of summer. I have been threatening to move to Germany since a lying yellow belly put the thought into my loved up head last year….however i have many more actual reasons than that sorry tale, the above being reason number 1 -- reality tv is way cooler in Germany!

I dunno whether to laugh or cry at this photo..i mean its awfully sad on so many levels. The stance, the outfit, the shoes, the fact that no one moved her from the side of the stage, the fact that she looks like shes there alone….this is no good. Back to Black was one of the most amazing albums by a female singer songwriter since the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Amy is an astonishing artist so why does her record label, family and so called friends allow this foolishness to happen?

Ok im not taking sides in the inane twitter/facebook beef (lmao) going on between Rusko & Deadmau culminating in this quite graphic picture. I not really interested in who said what or why or whose better etc im just pissing myself laughing at this poster! The artistry of producer beef is somewhat classier to that of mc beef im thinking…im also thinking that this post is sounding like the beef section of a chinese take away menu. Its also highly amusing how not being able to smoke weed backstage has escalated into a fully public diss match not to far form the release of someones new album….ill say no more and watch from the sidelines

Seriously he was and thats got nothing to do with the fact i wasnt at Glasto…more do to with the fact he didnt bring TT onstage, actually did more of his own tunes rather than other peoples and was wearing a Man United football shirt…..there was a few moments at Thursday Rockcorps concert where me and Sam were not feeling it at all (Akon track, random Euro pop freestyle) but regardless Snoop Dizzle was the shizzle for rizzle the complete bomb bizzle my nizzle. Also im giving myself props for wearing my original Snoop T from the Doggystyle era and standing out like a sore thumb, beeyatch you better recognize im an OG lmao! Also caught Vampire Weekend who were bloody brilliant very happy clappy low down snare playing slappy, drummer and bass player just a joy to watch making it a dope event all round. Big up the Orange RockCorps crew for all your hard work you soooooo deserved Thursdays knees up, and big shouts to theGiftd & LT for the tickets case you know i never painted no wall! djs stopped me blogging
If you’ve missed me and my random self centered blogging let me first apologise for my absence it wasnt my fault i blame all the djs mentioned in this post. If you havent missed me then what the hell you reading this for? SHOOO! Just week or so back i blogged about two actors that had passed away, in passing on a twitter comment the phrase all things come in 3’s was mentioned and sure enough a few days later, another classic went to sleep. RIP Rue McClanahan aka Blanche from the Golden Girls

Not a good week for old skool american actors. First Gary Coleman & then Dennis Hopper . Two legends with very different hollywood stories one leaves behind an epic filmography the other an epic catchphrase but both to me are equally unforgettable. Hope their resting in peace up in Hollywood heaven!
