Its mid week Wednesday, so why not champion weird and wonderful, and think positivly! Lets do it all at the same time by watching the master of surrealism Salvidor Dali from the 50’s TV show ‘Whats my line?’ I swear this cracks me up everytime, you see the panel have to ask yes or no questions to decipher what his profession is, however Dali can answer yes to nearly all of them, ‘is there anything this man doesn’t do’?! So inspired by Mr Dali and some PMA from yesterdays social networking im going about the day with a big YES. Just dont ask to borrow any money ya spoil sports

jesus & harry potter at mosside carnival
A week back today i was at Alexandra Park in Manchester enjoying the Mosside Carnival, the first time i’d been there in over 12 years! Shocked as i was to see Jesus and Harry Potter there i was even more surprised by the beautiful weather and rather pleasent crowd of all ages, creeds and cultures peacefully enjoying the some what community lead entertainment and tasty but pricey food. Trying to understand the logic behind the latest crop circle whilst at my sisters with N-Dubz playing in the background (on the radio) equalled a very confused Jenna. Last weekend was at the Hare & Hound in Birmingham for the Utah Jazz album party longside the man himself, Nu:Tone and STanza. Massive thanks to Ric for inviting me down there was a very fun night (apart from the weird guy who replied to me answering his question about Burger Bar shouts with ‘thats a great answer for a journalist’…ok then mate). Ok im not taking sides in the inane twitter/facebook beef (lmao) going on between Rusko & Deadmau culminating in this quite graphic picture. I not really interested in who said what or why or whose better etc im just pissing myself laughing at this poster! The artistry of producer beef is somewhat classier to that of mc beef im thinking…im also thinking that this post is sounding like the beef section of a chinese take away menu. Its also highly amusing how not being able to smoke weed backstage has escalated into a fully public diss match not to far form the release of someones new album….ill say no more and watch from the sidelines

A short stop motion animated sting created as an introduction for the ‘Best Stop Motion’ award category of the 2009 University of Glamorgan Glammies Awards. Created and animated by Joshua & Nathan Flynn. This years awards theme was Star Trek. Starring Commander Worf and Cadet ‘red shirt’ Wilhelm.
This holds a special place in my heart, i used to be likened to this Star Trek Character in High School…ahhh fond memories!

the bedroom cinema
Laid low like broccoli on Sunday after a pretty hectic Saturday in Manchester at Parklife. In one of those moods where the outside world was a hassle so after Sunday lunch at Tillys i returned to my boudoir and turned my bed into a cinema! Spent 8 glorious hours watching films old and new from a horizontal angle…total bliss and very entertaining heres what i watched and what i thought.

Ok so i missed Big Poppas birthday this week but im not gonna forget the yellow legend of entertainment. On this day in 1980 God or rather Namco created released the infamous arcade game PAC MAN an icon from the 1980’s pop culture. My sister had the quite savvy (for ‘86) handheld version which we would play under the covers lit by the green screen after lights out Im saluting this auspicious day by downloading the Iphone app, which is quite tame compared to this bloke….

I made them then me and him decorated them (we got more creative towards the end) they were space-tastic and covered in marshmallows & Icing, then we took photos of them, before battering the whole tray!

Ah that was my favorite bit from Dumbo, when he gets drunk (typical!) and even though only 1 of the elephants i saw on the South Bank was fully pink and they weren’t really on parade, London is much like that part of the movie right now.

Last Saturday i was in London via Reading performing with The Engine-Earz at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the amazing Raj:Reload. The gig absolutely smashed it with the seated venue turning into what can only be called the Queen Elizabeth Dance Hall once E=E was on stage, lol, alot of fun had by all in attendance on the Southbank for some truely inspiring performances. The party carried on until the wee hours of the morning and the lovely Levant/sequester captured some classic moments from backstage and beyond, simply a dope weekend.
