a wilde night in wurzburg!
Kim Wilde is alive and singing in Wurzburg at the age of 40 something, well at least last saturday she was to over 4 thousand people…a crowd somewhat bigger than mine at the Soulmotion party downstairs in the Posthalle, however the dnb crowd had WAY more taste! My first time in the north of the south of Germany was marred by a bout of food poisoning, so although the gig went well, the party was fun and the crowd enjoyed it, i didnt drink or get involved with the dancefloor in anyway after my performance, which is not how i like to get down. tonight @ vienna fashion week
Here in the city of Vienna for tonights Gina Drewes catwalk show, im positively beside myself with excitement as ill be appearing as the last model of the show and busting a little sing song Sandie Shaw style in my mourning kimono…also i just found that there’ll be a shit load of male models hanging around all day due to the other shows being just for men, life is just too good right now, dont hate me it will probably only last the weekend 
If you cant make it to the show then head on down the the Banana Club after 12 for a another fabulous outfit and some seriously huge shoulder pads……tee hee!

Back in Germany once tonights fashion affair is over, flying into Stuttgart early morning then off to Ulm for the Soulfire sessions. Really looking forward to it especially after meeting some of the crew in Sun and Bass, looking forward to a little reunion, ha ha! 60,000 people, 400 acts in just one day. The Belgians don’t do things by half! Laundry Day at the beginning of September was the perfect way to kick off a month of adventures, all thanks to the terrific two Murdock & Netsky for getting me over there again, was a pleasure and always a joy!
friday is vienna…
The weekend is nearly here and so off to Vienna i go for my very first Fashion Week appearance, courtesy of the wonderful (and absent from this years Sardinian escapades) Gina Drewes. The fashion show for her new collection A Hazy Shade of Winter will be the final one on Friday followed by the aftershow party at the Volksgarten featuring me and the lovely Barca Baxant along with some dope DJs to do your thing to. If your in Vienna and want somewhere fabulous to go and be fabulous at i guess i’ll see you at the bar, you wont miss me ill be holding a cocktail umbrella, dressed dapper in Drewes x
crazy ladies in my dreams
Ok im awake WIDE awake in fact because i had another dream, not nightmare just dream where sleeping was not the main story…i dont usually have such vivid dreams but since i moved to Berlin its like they wont bloody stop. I wonder what it is…the excitement, the change of scenery, visual stimulation, my butch landlords comfy as hell bed or the massive pillows that seem to be the norm at every place i stay at over here…whatever it is its kinda staring to pee me off somewhat, why cant i dream of lying on a beach lazing in the tropical sun whilst unicorns graze on the dolly mixture sprinkled brown sugar sand, or how about floating on a fluffy cotton candy cloud all snug and asleep whilst 20 yr old male gucci models hover like cupids firing stars over head? No i have to dream of crazy ladies, well their not like banshee crazy just very intent ladies like in the Aphex Twin screaming at the old woman after crawling out of the telly kind of intensity. What is up with this? Ok im going back into to dream land, bitches beware i have cotton wool in my ears!
serious sun and bass hangover
It was a week and a day ago that i left the lovely island of Sardinia, the end to my Sun and Bass bliss. many a thing has happened since then, many fun and wonderful things in fact but its only now, today that im finally shaking my S&B hangover. Back to work i must go, i am not on holiday any longer…oh but for that wonderful week that we all were…big thanks as always to Stefano and crew for the stella shenanigans and gracious hosting, all bar staff and security at Ambra Day, Night and down the beach, you kept us all liquored up nicely

Tonight me and the Kabuki will be laying down our funky stuff in Sun and Bass like true warrior souls, as i said on Monday wish you were here its gonna be fun as hell no doubt. Don’t feel like your missing out though cause you can catch a slice of the Warrior Soul session me and Kabuki did for Carhartt Radio right here. So just turn up the central heating, poor some deep drinks, turn the lights down low and ill see you on the flip now you hear

So right now im on the sunny beaches of Sardinia probably getting geared up for todays live session at Ambra Day, gonna be a special show for me indeed as im doing all new material, looking forward to getting a reaction to it as its mostly been in the studio all summer! Kinda nervous but hey ho what ever happens it will be lots of fun! capsule wardrobe hell
Ok so obviously i am yet to pack for my two months away in two different climates, as usual i have left every thing fashionably to the last minute. The main problem with the task in hand is the dreaded baggage limit on the Easyjet flights im taking, to try and solve this almighty problem i have been vainly trying to put together a capsule wardrobe which is a f**king nightmare! First off theres way to much information about this on the internet, various blogs with written essays on how to construct your personal perfect capsule wardrobes each of them equally dull. I mean 2 pairs of trousers and 1 pair of jeans how the hell am i supposed to choose between the 30 pairs of bottoms stacked up in my wardrobe? 2 Jackets, just two jackets and one of them is supposed to be a cardigan, what?!? Stick to neutral shades navy, beige, white, but where does my red Wrath reeboks or yellow Dynasty dress fit into that colour scheme….yeah i know i’ve worn it 3 times since i got it but still, i need it just incase!? No no no not dirty washing, please put ya knickers away, im talking about the festival in Belguim, cant wait to get over there on Saturday to wail over Netsky’s set in his home town, if past events are anything to go by its gonna be crazy and the perfect way to kick off the month of September adventures Flying into Sardinia on Sunday for the mighty mighty sun and bass and after a week of that im off to Berlin til Nov! Playing around Germany so keep an eye out for when and where right here….in the meantime if your in Belguim, Antwerp tomorrow make sure you reach Laundry Day for some of this….

Just seen the video from the last time the Riot Jazz boys and i played together in Manchester….mind out of the gutter people im talking music! Made by the fabulous Dr Treehorn and starring the raving masses that always make Riot Jazz such a special night.
