Just found out that this very sick Nike advert was filmed up Oldham Rd in Manchester, i dunno why this makes me feel proud as non of the makers were Mancunian and it stars a scouser but still i am!

Finally got a chance to check out two of the tracks from Donaeos‘ live Maida Vale session for Ras Kwame and im blown away. Seriously some people ring truer than ever when backed by live band, especially one as tight as this! Soooo worth a listen if your a Riot Music fan or live music lover im now off to see if i can find the full session online at the BBC i have a feeling though i’ve missed it, boo

This video is awesome in a Hurt Locker (first scene), Gus Van Saint, Lady Gaga random type epicness. However my initial feelings once the amassed mob are let out of the bus changed to ‘woe woe woe there my little pony tres hard core or what, monsieur director Romain Gavras?’ especially the final explosion…brilliant but really what is it all about. Some people are impressed by a partners strength, wallet, fashion sense etc. I am a sucker for someones music collection and knowledge. Is it wrong to say that going back to a mans house that has those ikea box shelving units full to the brim with Vinyl actually makes me wet….dont worry it didnt if you had a girlfriend (ah ah ah BURN). I think its the fact that sexy times would always have an awesome soundtrack or at least they would if vinyl could magically turn itself over. Dont get it twisted ladies a DJ is not necessarily a music collector and weirdly enough some of them have no musical knowledge at all….just had to separate myself from them booth bitches as that is not what this is about. Last Saturday i was in London via Reading performing with The Engine-Earz at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the amazing Raj:Reload. The gig absolutely smashed it with the seated venue turning into what can only be called the Queen Elizabeth Dance Hall once E=E was on stage, lol, alot of fun had by all in attendance on the Southbank for some truely inspiring performances. The party carried on until the wee hours of the morning and the lovely Levant/sequester captured some classic moments from backstage and beyond, simply a dope weekend.
