Oh wow what an amazing birthday week, all shimmery and shining like the disco ball i fell asleep watching every night. Even got my appetite back ! To many thank yous seriously and i don’t wanna gush its not in my newly matured character (and i’ve aleady done it to their face xx). Friends new and old, bouncers, cafe owners, ravers, builders and the girls standing in line for the bathroom THANK YOU, i love ya truely madly deeply

gina drewes – bird of paradise
Ok so i was aware that my friend Gina was amazing at designing and making beautiful unique and stylish clothes but until my birthday weekend in Vienna i had only been able to appreciate that talent whilst coveting the garms from afar on her website and waiting endlessly for the sun to come out so i can wear my Gina Drewes blanket hoody (as above but mines grey and pink!). The best birthday present then to be up close and personal in her atelier (situated in the back of Lila pix boutique) jacking wi fi and sleeping on her couch whilst spend a whole weekend dressed up in her fabulous creations from the new range Bird of Paradise, all of which i want when there out later this year (dam you Gina only making one of everything so far!). Work It absolutely smashed it last summer when it journeyed up the M1 from Visions Videos in London to The Deaf Institute in Manchester for some retro 90′s partying. Perfect timing then that the girls and crew are back in town a week after my birthday as it means i can hijack the event as a belated birthday party in my hometown! Will be doing a quick DJ set of my favourite tracks from the decade i lost my virginity in…so come down preferably in harem pants and bandage dresses for Part 2 of Work It – Manchester

Tomorrow night ill be seeing in my birthday at one of my favourite clubs in the whole wide world, Flex in Vienna! Wicked is the party hosted by Spaceant and the rest of the Wicked Squad, ill be playing longside my Mainframe homie Disaszt before getting well and truely legless. VIENNA MAKE SURE YOU REACH, im gonna try not to repeat the VOLKS incident ehem…but bring your camera just in case

Matters of the heart plus corporate enterprise equals sh*t tv so i spent most of the evening finally getting my SCS3 system to work (for all of half an hour) and had a little mix inspired by this swoon fest of a day, I then spent what was left of the evening trying to upload to Soundcloud (whilst writing, chat rouletting and finding out what a looser some people can be, lol) Blogging while others are bonking…..dont say a word!
